Tips for Attending a Bridal Show

  1. Make sure you register when you arrive at the show. Registering will enter you into all of the prize drawings.
  2. Create a temporary email address to be used while you are planning your wedding. This way you have all your wedding information in one place when receiving special offers or hearing from the exhibitors.
  3. Pring and bring adhesive address labels. This will save you a lot of time when you enter for prizes and inquire about information. Most exhibitors will want to know your wedding date so make sure to add this to your label along with your email address and contact information.
  4. Allow yourself three hours (or more) to visit the exhibits and watch the exciting fashion show. Make a day of it!
  5. Ask lots of questions, that's what the exhibitors are there for!
  6. Bring your debit/credit card in case you decide to book services or hold dates with a deposit. Be sure to check on refund policies and read contracts carefully before signing.
  7. Collect as much information you can - take it home to look over again when you have some quiet time. You may never have considered certain services during the show, and later reconsider.
  8. If you cannot attend, send someone in your place to register you for prizes and collect information on services you need. Send your Maid of Honour, or a Best Man, even your mom to ensure you don't miss out on a deal.
  9. It is nice if your fiancé attends with you, much of what you see is easier to discuss at home after experiencing it together.
  10. Wear comfortable shoes and plan for an exiciting, fun day.

Remember to relax and have fun - this is your wedding!
